Where does snapchat store images?

Where does snapchat store downloaded images / videos that you haven't opened yet? What about images saved in the chat? There is none in Android/data/com.snapchat.android but there are folder names like received snaps etc.

Have you looked in /data/data (root required)? That where most apps keep their internal data, generally in a database in their own folder in there.

I don't have this app installed, so cannot check myself.
