Where is my Oukitel C3 firmware?

I tried to root my Oukitel C3, to no avail. I thought it was due to my new firmware (the kernel was marked as July, 2017) and determined to downgrade my firmware. I downloaded every official firmware from https://www.needrom.com/download/oukitel-c3/ and tried them all with smart phone flash tool downloaded from the same page, but with any firmware my smartphone didn't boot at all. I guess the hardware changed to the newest....

With any version, my phone display lights only dimly when holding the power button for 5 to 10 seconds.

What should I try or where is the latest firmware? I forgot to backup copy of the original image.

The serial # of my phone is C32016120100940. Looks like it was made Dec. 01 2016. Newer than any official firmware.

If it's very recent, Needrom may not have it yet. Try Oukitel's own official support website.

But if you can't find what you need there, you might have to contact Oukitel about it.

Thanks for the reply, but the firmware cannot be downloaded from that link. Hit "firmware" tab and then "C3", but nothing happens. So I sent an email to the persons mentioned in that homepage.

Oukitel's homepage is a bulls**t.! Community is almost vacant. No download works. I called the cooperation number, but the old woman doesn't understand the firmware....please let me complain here

Try email, and I suggest you use Google Translate to put your enquiry/request into Chinese(Simplified PRC) as well.

FWIW I don't have a high regard for Oukitel, as their phones are often pimped by spammers and shills on forums, and I would never buy an Oukitel myself.

I think I found a solution; I haven't tried rom2, downloaded from https://yadi.sk/d/AtcsUf_N37H8iD Whenever I try to flash this firmware, I get an error "ERROR:STATUS_SCATTER_FILE_INVALID (0xC0030001)." How can I flash this one? The scatter file looks good with my eyes.....but it must be incorrect.

My oukitel C3 was soft broken due to the wrong flash. It is very hard to revive again i was full format my device with SP Flash Tool and the NVRAM and IMEI goes to Invalid. Then after long research, I found here https://firmwareos.com/download-oukitel-c3-firmware all version firmware with their NVRAM database. I flashed them with SN Write Tool now it is good. Hope this help to users.
