Where is the car dock?

I paid $120 for an iPod dock back when the iPod was still big bulky and touchscreenless.

I don't care what the cost just release the damn car dock for the Nexus already!!!

I used it to navigate about 20 miles and back (just for kicks). It works GREAT!!! except by the time I got back I had low battery.
 
I think I'm going to pass on Googles car dock..simply because of the picture I posted it looks like shit. And won't work on my dash..and the only other way to hook it up is to suction it to the windshield (if you can do that even?) but then the damn thing is to short to even hook it up like that.

I might just buy the damn $65 car dock one that was posted earlier in this thread.

Looks to me like the arm is telescopic if you look closely at it and the 'base' looks like a standard sucker that probably some clown from the marketing dept placed on the dash.
 
i can't wait for the car dock - at least to see it... i'll decide then... but i'd like some sort of car dock... would make the navigation so much more useful and usable... (instead of having the phone on my lap)
 
I'd be happy if it were that ugly. As long as it charged the phone while holding it up, I'm happy.

And yes, I am one of those people who will pay a stupid price because it is "official".
