So I found a thread that was asking this question, but I decided not to bump it because it got into an iTunes debate. I have searched a bit and have not been able to find an answer.
Where can I legally buy movies in the correct format to put them on my Samsung Galaxy S2?
I went to Amazon on my phone and it told me my phone didn't support downloading purchased movies. If I buy the movie on my computer, would I be able to transfer it over to the phone? Or is it in the wrong format?
Am I able to buy movies from Amazon then use one of the video converter programs in the sticky to change the format then put it on my phone? Is this legal?
Amazon seems like the best bet, but I don't want to buy something then it not work. I wish our app store would just let us buy movies. Why is it only rentals?
Edit: What ticks me off and is the reason for my post is I saw an Samsung commercial last night watching football where the guy talked about how many different places he could go to buy movies for his phone... and I can't find one! Sigh.
