Where to buy phones without contracts?

Okay, so I will not be signing anymore contracts with Verizon Wireless.
When I go to upgraded to a BRAND NEW phone, is verizon wireless the best place to do that?

I think verizon has (for example) the Droid 3 on a 2 year contract for $199.99 and off contract for $469.99. And BestBuy has it on contract for $199.99 and off contract for like $599.99.

So my question is, when I go to get a new phone off contract, where is the best place to buy a brand new in sealed box phone?
Any good websites?
Thanks so much!

I usually shop ebay for new or like new droid phones..keep a watch out for good deals..I just purchased a brand new Fascinate, sealed in box, with all accessories for $250. Important to get the esn # and make sure its clean for activation though. Some listings don't include this information. I always only buy from sellers with 100% positive feedback. Thousands of smart phones/droids to choose from...

I have had good luck buying and selling on CrackBerry.com. I would also use the Marketplace here. I dislike eBay and PayPal because of all the fees. Craigslist is risky and open to scammers.

Last phone I sold was my Blackberry Tour. You can check out the seller or buyers profile which gives you a good Indication of their trustworthiness. I would not buy or sell to a new member with less than 100 posts.

Best buy will price match Verizon... You can usually get 0% for 18 months... 30 days to try it out, no fee if u return....
