I've seen a lot of mentions of an applicationed called Where...

I've searched for it in the marketplace and cannot find it. Is it still available?

I found it here. It says it's Adroid 2.0 compatible. Maybe it's not appearing in the Market app on your device because it's not compatible?

I'm not an expert, but that may be the problem. I know that only certain apps are region specific.

Do a search for "Places Directory." Very similar functionality and I actually prefer it to "Where." I don't know if it is available for your phone or area but worth a try.
