where's android 2.2

Hi, I'm a new android OS user, Previously windows only fan. anyone have any ideas on how and when a new android 2.2 will arrive to my LG Ally phone from Verizon, or am I waiting in vein? Thank you.

Verizon has not yet released the FroYo update for the LG Ally. When they do you'll get a notification of an OTA update on your phone. For more info please reference the following thread:
