I have completely forgotten about this site until I ran across a bill the other day. It can be interesting to follow money around the country.

Where's George?

I played for a while. I even found a website that offered a free stamp and ordered a WG stamp. It's been a while since I've put any out into the world. I still find 1 or 2 a year, and I'll add them to the website.

I never did have a stamp, but I wrote the website on some bills and put out in the wild. I mostly would run across others and add it to the site.

If I remember, the gov't made a big stink about defacing currency and I believe that slowed it down quite a bit.

I've never marked bills but I"ve looked them when I come across them. It's pretty cool. And that defacing thing is kind of dumb, which is sad.. IIRC the law applies to forgery or making it completely unreadable or unusable. Who cares if you write or stamp on it?

I just ran across a bill today with a stamp mark on it....it's been out since 2011.
