Which 4G Metro phones are the best and not low in internal RAM ?

Hi everyone. Season's Greetings. Haven't looked at MetroPCS phones in over a year, My girlfriend has a Samsung phone SGHT599N from Metro and it is very low on internal memory/RAM and it causes problems. Most apps cannot be moved to an SD card, and she gets messages of low memory. Several Metro Corp stores could not help this problem.

I love my LG Motion, but Metro doesn't sell it now.

Which 4G Metro phone do you recommend which has adequate internal memory and is at least as good as the LG Motion ?

Since you can use any unlocked GSM phone, the Moto G 4G LTE (8GB plus SD card) would be a good replacement for the Motion. If you want more storage a Nexus 5 would work.

If you haven't already made a decision, I would suggest checking out LG's F60 and Samsung's Galaxy Avant. Specs and features that rival(and in some cases exceed) the Moto G but at 50 and 100 dollar price points respectively(when bought in a Metro PCS store).

Actually, the F60(Metro PCS version) has an 8GB ROM with 4GB available to the user along with micro SD card memory expansion.

Although I like the Moto G 4G, I'd get the regular version with more storage first. It still gets HSPA and works well for my mom. She even uses the built in tether for her Nexus 7. All options posted are good though. Just depends on what fits your needs best. Good luck

I say LG F60 is the best value for Metro brand phone.
$49 (after all discount... instant + mail in rebate) for quad core, 4.5 inch, 1GB RAM and LG Brand phone. This is a steal.

Once downside is this is a fairly new phone so not much development is in market at this point.. no root, no rom, no theme yet...

Thank you. Just concerned about internal memory after she has been tortured by this Samsung Exhibit. Will check out Best Buy and a Metro Store. a 64GB unlocked Apple iPhone 5s can be had for $400.

Just experienced the Avant. Supreme clarity on calls. Excellent speakerphone. Great value. The menus were clumsy compared to the LG Motion. Heard the battery life sucks big time.

Is an extended battery available for the Avant ?

If you don't mind spending a more, Mugen Power has an extended battery for the Avant.

I just activated a new Avant this morning, it's replacing my F3 which has been a great phone aside from the limited storage. We'll see how it does on battery, I'm not terribly concerned since I keep the phone plugged in much of the time anyway and a 2100mah battery really isn't that shabby. I've frozen and turned off a lot of stuff (useless apps, sync etc) and that should help.
For the money this phone seems like a great deal so far. Memory-wise it's identical to the S4 at 16GB storage/1.5GB RAM. (Ok, only about 10-11GB is actually available to the user but that's still plenty especially for a $99 phone, and it's probably the same in the S4).

The s4 has 2 GB of ram. Also you get a little less than that free on the s4 because the s4 supports all of samsungs motion and swipe gestures while the avant doesnt. If I remember the s4 after everything had around 9gb free. For the op I'd say the zmax. 5.7 inch 720p HD screen with 16gb internal memory and 2 GB of ram. Plus it runs almost a stock build of android 4.4.4. The avant with touchwiz while looks nice is a ram hog.
