Which android

So my dad phones me up last night to let me know he wants a new phone and is thinking android, he has played on my hero a fair bit and loves it, he has also fiddled with iphones and love them too, now he has played with some touchscreen phones but only those with resitive screens and he hates that so it defo has to be a capasative screen, he is happy to go for android as he likes the apps idea and doesn`t want an iphone cos it will cost him too much
just wondering what would be the best deal for him he wants to pay around

Take a look at the HTC Legend. The Desire also is capacitive but more expensive.
