Which Battery (2900mAh or 3000mAh)?

We know there are two versions of the phone. One of the biggest differences I see is one has 8GB of storage (Cricket, Sprint, Boost Mobile, etc) and the other has 16GB (T-mobile, MetroPCS, My Family Mobile, etc). Other then some of the other specs such as camera and memory, one other spec stood out... the battery. The 8GB version has a 3000mAh battery and the 16BG version has a 2900mAh battery. Correct me if I am mistaken.

My question is if it is possible for me (I have the 16GB version) to buy the 3000mAh battery to replace my 2900mAh one, and use the 2900 battery as a backup. Will the 3000mAh battery fit in the 16GB model? Has anyone tried this, and if so is there a noticeable difference? I mean, is an extra 100mAh gonna make a difference?

4500mah would be awesome! Is there a risk of going higher on the mAh's or is this a common and safe thing to do? Is there a too high?

All i can say its the only thing it can happen its for the power to fails...
Phone will NOT fry.. Remember that this batteries are not OEM so eventually the fail or not its a matter of luck. That's always the con's in aftermarket stuff
