Which Browser?

Yesevil

Android Enthusiast
As the title suggests, just enquiring as to which browsers people are using.

I used to use chrome but found it slowed down my phone with multiple tabs open.
Currently on stock browser on S7, but looking for a change with more features

When still using Chrome ... did you try a Wipe Cache Partition deleting all temporary files and not touching ferment files, apps, or settings?

When performance is an issue it is always the first thing I suspect.

I think the mobile version of Chrome is terrible and as mentioned by Gmash in another thread recently, I can't understand why it's so popular. :/

I flit between the stock browser on my G4, Pale Moon, Firefox and Naked Browser.

For ages, I hated Naked browser but decided to give it another try recently and haven't looked back.

Cheers mate, I'll try this if I go back to chrome

Yeh, FYI BOAT means Beijing Office Automation Tech. Co. Ltd.

They're monetized by phoning home your data to servers in the PRC, and selling it to whatever third-parties. Just like Cheetah Mobile. Something I don't particularly want happening when browsing sites using a VPN. That's why I don't use Dolphin, DU(Baidu), UC, etc. either.

I use Chrome or Naked browser.

I use Chrome. I don't have any issues with it. I haven't gotten the latest update.

If I need Flash, I use Dolphin.

I also used Opera Mini. This will be very fast because the Opera servers render the web pages and then sends the images to your phone. I used to use it on slower phones and it will make slower phones feel faster. Not sure if this is necessary for an S7.

I've been searching for something other than Chrome as I'm tired of how much Google tracks and knows about you. I'm cutting as much cord as I can. So far, Ghostery is the answer. Only thing Google on my phone is Play.

Just thought I would Throw UC Browser into the mix. Works great for me and comes in either lightweight or full feature on the Google Playstore. If you are just looking for a fast, clean, & reliable browsing experience then I highly recommend it.

UC Browser, NOPE!... especially for my browsing in this country. And I've had serious second thoughts about using and recommending Opera quite recently.

FYI Kunlun is 1Mobile Market, NOT usually recommended here on AF, and neither are any "free" snake-oil/spyware Qihoo apps.

FWIW I used to use Opera all the time, especially on Nokia Symbian phones.
