DAMN!!!!

NOW I know why I am always SO MISERABLE ... and struggling not to make myself and make other people cry sometimes!

https://www.iol.co.za/dailynews/south-africans-a-miserable-lot-says-research-12648704

Well that explains a lot for my extreme sadness and hopelessness and "don't really give a shit-ness"

"yay"

well now that just explains a hell of a lot hey!

Well I've had enough of this shit hole!

What is a lovely country to immigrate to? :)

lol I know some of you don't want me hahahahaha XD

A few things I NEED:

1) MUST have very low taxes - like Singapore (I really love the sounds of Singapore :D)
2) Must have no racist bull shit being thrown in my face every 2 nano seconds!!!!
3) Preferably very safe :)

What country is cool, nice, TAX FREE!!! :D and nice and safe or friendly? :)

I love the Japanese so maybe I will immigrate there :D

I already work so ****ing hard like them so they more than likely will welcome me with open arms ;) or maybe open katanas and Kamahamahas XD

Maybe the Japanese can teach me how to throw around some kamehamehas? lol

Or maybe how to pilot some big ass giant mech so I can come kick everyone's ass manga style!

Monaco sounds nice! :D

Daaamn I wondering where should I go now? xD

Sorry for such a late reply thanks to the extremely glitchy / buggy notifications system I didn't even know that you guys had replied! Sorry if it was slightly rude :)

Wow Monaco sounds awesome!

What are the taxes like there?

Low! Count the luxury super yachts in the harbour on race day. The uber rich know how to protect their money. Or at least their accountants do ;)

Ohh that sounds like my kind heaven thanks!!!

That sounds like the perfect place to go!

Hmm but there is one major problem I think at least - do I need to speak French?

I can't speak a le Francious or French sadly :(

Isn't Monaco 500% french?

I can't even say one word in French :(

But brilliant advice though thank you! You are a good soul LV426 buddy :-D

Clever man!

How many languages do you have?

More than one can useful.

Hehe yes I can speak a few languages :-D

I am a native English speaker I am also fluent in Afrikaans (Dutch) I can also speak isiZulu, Xhosa and a little bit of Sotho.

My Sotho is a bit shitty though lol :-D

If you're well-spoken in English and like teaching/working with kids a good way to get to Japan is by looking at the JET Programme. It's a Japanese government program to get ALTs (Assistant Language Teachers) into schools, from elementary to middle and high school. There are also plenty of private companies that do placements as well, but they don't pay as well.

FYI you must have been to university and graduated with a minimum of a batcherlor's degree,

@Stinky Stinky do you have a BA, BSc, MA, PhD, MBA, etc. Of course this is why I'm in an Asian country and not living in the UK. Middle school and high school English teacher is my day job.

Hey thanks buddy! :D

Yes I am an engineer but only mechanical - no honours - but by far my greatest strength lies in my rare set of skills.

For example the company that has employed me now is so desperate to keep me chained to them because my skills are extremely scarce they have just upgraded my contract from 3 years to 5!

My set of skills are quite rare there aren't a lot of people in the world that can do what I can do with metallurgy and some interesting extras.

The pass mark for all of qualifications is 85% (****ing tough to be accpeted as well!) Or you are not smart enough to be given such a massive responsibility.

Looking after billions of dollars of technology is no small joke. No idiots allowed sorry to sound harsh but that is the way it goes I don't want an incompetent person that doesn't know what he is doing.

If you are wondering how did such a young man (with not decades of experience) find out what is rare and what is not the answer is an interesting one!

I had a great mentor that showed how to become extremely desirable and most importantly - indispensable!

I owe a lot to my mentor he taught me extremely well and gave me rock solid advice from years and years of experience and I would not be where I am today without him.

For example and I am seriously not joking here but there are only 9 people on the WHOLE of New Zealand that have this set of knowledge and skills.

I cannot tell you what I do for a living because you will know exactly who I am and I will stick out like a sore thumb on the internet.

I checked on the data base because I was interested in immigrating to New Zealand and to see how quickly they would snatch me up and how easy it would be to get work.

My rare set of skills are quite desirable generally speaking.

Of course I would ideally prefer to go an economy that has a place for me to work. (Power plants, refineries, nuclear, concentrated solar power plant, fracking, oil rigs ect ect) but might not be possible.

So immigrating is not really a problem for me I will be welcomed with open arms with a big smile the problem is I need to look for a place that has very low taxes and one that is nice and stable. I don't want to move to another SA 2.0 - I want to forget about this place and be happy and free with equal rights.

I have been considering the Dominica islands as I can buy citizenship outright if I want to haha would be lovely to have 0 taxes for life! :-)

But yeah I was just wondering what interesting places I can consider moving to hehe :-D

The USA is the only country that would respect your wealth and experience. No country has 0 taxes.

I must say I really like the USA! :-D

Her people are generally well mannered and decent. Very nice vibe indeed! :)

I have an uncle living there already in San Diego (did I spell it correctly? :)) and he says it's an amazing country with awesome people in it :)

But how bad are American taxes?

That would be a big problem for me if it is too much...

:D

The highest rate I've been taxed at is 28%.

Dang that is a bit high :(

Well at least its much better than here I get hit by more than 40% and I never get anything back for it :(

not cool! :(

But thank you for letting me know though it doesn't sound great but at least it's okay :)

If you're living there, it pays dividends to learn the lingo, but may not be essential for the actual job.
It's a bit difficult to do daily life stuff without it. But as long as you're willing to learn, that's what really matters. The next application period starts in the fall. If you really want to go you could start studying now. But it's not extremely important.

Wow interesting!

So this is for Japan?

I really like the Japanese! - very hard working people!

I have tons of respect for them - they have 00000 natural resources but their people are absolutely by far their greatest asset of all!

They are the opposite of this place - the people here have a terrible attitude / culture but one of the most resource rich countries on the planet!

I love the Japanese I must go there someday.

You cannot beat quiet productivity with respect for one another! This is why they are where they are today :)

They actually have a term called "Karoshi" in their culture which means - work to death! xD

Kind of scary in a way actually I remember reading up about one of the people they died from over working she was only 30 or something like that.

That's when they take things a bit too far though and starts to become destructive.

Doesn't sound great to me. I mean work is very important, and gives a purpose in life, but I like to get things in balance. Family life and leisure is equally important.

Yes I totally agree!

That is when they take it a bit too far - I myself feel like sometimes I am going to go insane because I work so freaking hard I only get 2 days off for the month. But that's the price I pay for being where I am I guess but I totally agree with you!

It is horribly destructive to work all day and have no life it can destroy creativity, it can make people die far younger than normally would otherwise.

It s vital to have a healthy balance - I 110% agree!

I remember one time I was working so hard my vision started to blur from fatigue! And talk about being "safety conscious" - it is freaking dangerous to not be completely awake when and on the verge of collapse you are dealing with extremely dangerous technology.

I remember a few years ago when my boss / mentor was so tired his company car went rolling back down the hill and crashed into the boom because he was so exhausted he hadn't properly pulled up the hand brake!

Security tested him for drugs but it was only because of fatigue from going home at like 8pm every night.

It is insane the amount of work we do I am worried I might not live to see 40 the way I am going if I am not careful sometimes I seriously feel it.

Its not healthy or wise to keep working oneself to death.

LOL Disney land!?! :D

That is EPIC! :D

Hahahaha lol you guys make me smile! :D

Wow but Finland looks awesome! :D
