Which Droid???

I'm on the Verizon Wireless network and my phone is eligible for update. I was going to get the Droid this weekend, but I was reading that the Nexus One was coming to Verizon Wireless this spring. Seeing as how the Nexus One has the Android 2.1 SW on it, should I wait until it comes out or just get the Droid now???

The best you can do is compare specs and decide what is right for you. The biggest (but not complete) differences between the two:

Hardware- The N1 has a faster processor, the Droid has a phys. keyboard.
My Droid is plenty fast, and I like having a keyboard, so the Droid is my preference.

Software- The N1 is running a newer version, as you said, but Motorola has said that 2.1 will be rolled out for the Droid "soon".

Bottom line: reads lots of reviews and comments for both before you spend the $$$!
