Which finger do you use to Swype?

I see in all of the videos that they use their index finger but that just seems so awkward, so I use my thumbs. Has everyone just gotten used to using their index finger or do you use your thumbs as well?

I had to check that one. I have 2 swipe modes, in portrait mode I hold with left hand and swipe with left thumb. In landscape mode I hold with left hand and swipe with right index finger.

I have been using my index finger. I just tried using my thumbs and it felt really awkward for me and I didn't have any accuracy at all. Haha.

Right thumb. You can't hold the phone and type with one hand if you don't use your thumb.
