Which is a better external battery?

You know my reply will be Anker Slim3 :)

But if you narrow it down to those 2 selection, PowerGen looks like an "ancient" 2yr old bulky brick with a flimsy attached cable, old style adapters, one of the ports 0.6A (?), and so on. EasyAcc looks like a better option.

Anker Slim is nice, except from what I hear, the way the plug is shaped it WONT fit into my Note 2's charging port due to it having a Otterbox Defender on it. That's the main problen.

With my luck, I'd muck it up royally.

Sorry, never got around taking a picture (need to find this battery), but basically if you look at the picture of the original connector before mod (from my original Slim3 review)

All that stuff around it is a thick rubber that could be trimmed, like half of it. You are ok doing it on 3 sides, but the side next to the wire where it's connected - need to be careful. So, maybe you better off not doing it :D

Yeah, pretty much. I'd probably wind up getting the Powergen one, I have a small carrying bag I got for my external HDD I could just pop it in to, plus the 9000 charge, even say at 2/3 being transferred would be more than enough for at least a full charge of my phone and most of a charge of whatever tablet I buy soon.

Here is one that is even better. I have purchased 5 different rechargeable batteries for my phone now and I like the Pineng 10,000mAh best. It has an LCD display so you know how much battery is left and it charges both my iPhone and my android phone for a week before needing to be recharged itself. It has both 2.1A and 1.0A outputs so you can charge almost anything. Oh and it has a flashlight too. I think they are on Amazon for under $40.
