Root which is the best kernel

i feel im ready to root but still have questions....I have 2.2.2 & froyo.eb28 & cant decide which kernel is best between Transform Ult. Kernel Pakage v3...Vampirefo 2.0.9.lv...or Puma v2..really I just want speed & better batt. life
if I have anti virus is it still good to have even if rooted..if I keep it what is good protection ..I have webroot antivirus now
& does rooting benefit roaming too..just asking cause I lose signal in the basement & sometimes on the train

I'll give my vote for the Puma v2 kernel. Faster than stock and pretty stable.

Antivirus is ******ed and doesn't do anything. Go with either Ultimate Kernel or Puma v2. Uninstall the antivirus. No, rooting doesn't help with your service.
