Which Micro SD for Galaxy S3?

Hello:

I read some articles about SanDisk SD cards with the Galaxy S3 and it causes malfunctioning and constantly removes the card and ALSO constantly remounts the card. OK, this explains why my SD card never worked even with formatting the card because it was a SanDisk SD card.

So, may I please ask which brand should I buy? I am also not sure which class should I buy?

Also, I know this part is odd but it's true. Yesterday, I was charging my phone and the SD card was inserted and it said it was 16% charged so in this order. I unplugged the charger than I powered off the phone than removed the battery than removed the SD card and left it out and than powered on the phone and it said 30% and I plugged in the charger and started charging from 30%.

I have a Note 2 and had similar issues with Sandisk cards. The Sandisk cards I bought from newegg and amazon. They would mount and unmount repeatedly on my Note 2. I ended up buying a legit Samsung SD card and I have had no problems since. I can't tell you what to buy but I know the frustration you are going through.

I just saw this. Looks like I'm contacting Sandisk and demanding my money back. Ugh, they made me lose so many pictures because I tried saving them on this stupid, dud card without noticing for ages, and trying to troubleshoot the thing myself was a huge pain.

Thanks for the update! All this time, I thought it was my SD reader or something silly like that.

Whoops, just saw this. Can't say for sure. Good luck in whatever you buy.

Are you able to at least xfer your photos to your pc? Hopefully you can unless the card was so bad you can't even do that

I was able to transfer what was already on the card before it went bad, but I took a fair amount of pictures after the card went to hell, which all got corrupted in some way or never saved properly to begin with. The situation wasn't as bad as it could have been, but I did lose a few things that I wanted/needed to document.

Thanks for the concern :]
