Which model phone is suitable for Android 5?

Dear Friends,
I heard that Android 5 is going to release on October 2013.
Also heard that Android 5 consumes less resources and fast performance.
I want to buy a phone this month, can I move to Android 5 when it release?
If so, which model available in market can support Android 5 in future?
I plan to buy Samsung or Micromax phone.
What configuration (e.g. Processor and RAM) I have to select?

Aside from Google, nobody knows anything about Android 5.0 or what the minimum requirements will be.

It's probably safe to presume that all current flagship devices and most current phones capable of running JellyBean will be able to handle it.

Outwith those presumptions, nobody knows. :)

Assuming KLP runs similar to JB, you'd need at least a dual core processor and a gig of ram (my Desire HD with a single core and less than 1gb ram struggles a bit)

A Nexus device will be your best bet for getting KLP when it comes out. Nexus owners get updates when Google releases them. Everybody else is at the mercy of their cell phone manufacturer and carrier.
