Hi all,
Just joined this forum yesterday, still trying to find my way around here. I'm currently using Nokia C7 for the last couple of years (have been a Nokia user for the last 10 years ) and am now looking forward to finally switch (rather catch up) to Android.
Now I have been reading and watching a lot of reviews and have narrowed my list down to just a few Android smartphones - namely the HTC One X, One X+ and Google Nexus 4. Samsung Galaxy SIII is undoubtedly a great phone but I am more inclined to go for something else right now.
My normal usage consists of lots of data usage for browsing, reading news etc., texting a lot and the occasional calls/pics/videos/music and stuff. I also use apps and games quite frequently, although I can't really be termed as a power user, mostly play games just before sleep for half an hour or so.
Now considering my "profile", which of the phones would be the one for me?? I'd like to highlight a few negatives of each phone which I came across after reading reviews:
1. HTC One X - poor battery life, some network issues, sub standard video recording, phone gets hot while using intensive apps/games.
2. HTC One X+ - battery still iffy despite the upgrade, phone still gets hot. Also, is the difference in price with One X really justifiable, considering the One X would now be available at a bargain??
3. Nexus 4 - Camera lags and iffy picture quality, no smart dialling, no flash support.
Would really like if people could help me out here with these phones. Thanks a lot in advance
