which phone would u recommend?

hey guys, so my girlfriend is considering getting metropcs... she lives in LA and would u recommend it? i heard the service isn't that great... and can someone recommend a smartphone that's got a decent battery life?
 
I believe one of the lower galaxys like the ACE, GIO or Y should be perfect for battery life as well as power and features, they each have A 800 MHz or bigger processor. as for the SP I'm not familiar with SP's in that area.
 
None of MetroPcs' Android are great on battery life. They all kinda suck. But with certain apps and such you can extend the life of it. Me personally, theres only 2 phones I'd buy at Metro and I own one, the LG Esteem. Great phone. Or the Samsung Admire.
