Thinking about getting an Android box for sports. Any recommendations?

Basic, easy to use and works, is king for me, not sure if I have to do anything else to this box, happy to follow instructions if needs a little work though.
If the above is no good, what should I need looking for exactly.
Will be connected direct to my TV via HDMI, probably a bedroom TV, maybe if works to main TV, both using WiFi though. Not bothered on fancy sound etc, just direct to HDMI on TV is fine.
Heard differing reports from some people who have them say works fine, others say can't get anything to stream.
