Help Whistle not working

Hi guys I have 2 Galaxy S3's and my girlfriends S3 isn't behaving normally. For a start the whistle ringtone on Messages only plays half way through and sometimes maybe once but it never repeats like on my phone. Is there a setting I need to change? :D

Any help will be welcome. I've tried changing notifications but she wants the whistle tone!
 
The motion settings palm to mute and flip to mute tend to be the culprits for this problem, try turning them off.
 
I just read in another thread that long conversations are the problem. Deleting them solves it apparently.

My phone is set up so there's only 200 messages per conversation so I can't test it, but its worth a shot!

Thanks, just as you said that I think I saw the same thread and it was caused by that. I hope they make a sticky of it as its quite annoying.
