Whistle Sound Won't Stop

Samsung Galaxy s iii AT7T


In the default notification sound, it whistles no matter what. I have changed the sound and it still whistles. I have turn notification off and it still whistles. It is driving me crazy.

Please make it stop

Ouch. That sounds annoying. Is it plugged into your car and connected to your stereo, or similarly connected via USB. Sometimes this can cause electrical feedback.

Other than that, it sounds like a defect and you may need to do a warranty replacement.
