White flip cover - real or fake?

Hi, I would like to buy a white flip cover for the S3 on ebay. I want a genuine one, made by Samsung. My problem is that I'm having trouble figuring out which ones are real and which ones are cheap knock offs.

I found one that is for $28.49, it's located in the US and seems to be made by Samsung.
And I found another one which is for $12.99, located in HongKong.

Now, is there any way to tell if the cheaper one is genuine or not? Nowhere in the description does it say that it's made by Samsung; it also states that it's available in black, white, red, pink, orange, purple, brown. Does Samsung even manufacture it in that many different colors?
If it's located in HongKong, does it automatically mean that it's fake? Or does it just mean that I'm gonna have to wait longer until it's shipped to the US?
Obviously, I don't want to spend all my money on this, but I am willing to get the real thing one way or another.
If anyone has any thoughts on this, please help.
 
I actually bought a black flip from Hong Kong. It's made of better, stronger, slightly thicker material. The main difference is the enclosure. The official Samsung case replaces the back cover... The copy has an adhesive where your normal back sticks to.

Hi chazwazzel, that is one strange topic "REAL OR FAKE". This is not an Armani Suit or an Audi Car, 99.99% of all covers, pockets and phone accessories are produced in China, India, Vietnam and etc. The factory that produces "Samsung's original products" also produces its own covers and things which in most cases are stronger, cheaper and more durable. Actual SAMSUNG is NOT a producer of back-flips, covers and pockets for phones they contract other companies to do that for them. All the items I have bought from amazon and ebay for my SGS2 and SGS3 (at least 15 items) were of excellent quality and a price of under 7euro per piece.
Make your choice.
 
I recently purchased a genuine brand spanking new Flip Cover "by" Samsung for
my GS3, and what a disappointment that was. It cost me 29.90
 
Just to note that although the white flip cover looks very pretty , you will find that even with care it will get dirty very quickly. i've had my GS3 in a white silicone gel case for a month and I'll probably have to buy a new one soon.
 
Doesn't matter he wants samsung cover not knock offs.

Wow, this completely changed my mind. You guys made me do a little more research and I found more people complaining about how fragile that flip cover is and advising buyers not to waste their money. Perhaps I will wait a little more and find a different case that suites my needs. Thanks
