what's up easily-dirtied phone? with what i do for a living added onto how often I use my phone....that white phone would develop into a brown or black one within 6 months of regular usage.

My work phone is a white xv6900 and the finish is really glossy so I don't really see it getting dirty or anything. Plus I keep the phone in it's little HTC pouch.

I'm sure the phone wouldn't turn a really noticable color for most normal usage. I know that it wouldn't if you washed it once a week or so. With my tech, I usually give it a good washdown and shine it up a few times a week just to keep it in good shape and also so I can notice any dings or whatnot so I can be sure to take better care of it.

Yeah, I do! I can't find a link, but basically, all you gotta do is mask the buttons/screen with blue painting tape, and then go to Lowe's and buy some spray paint (preferably White). Then give it a good shake, and spray away.


Let it dry.


Wait an hour.

Instead Ill just use a paintbrush and some ceiling paint.. and then Ill sell it to you for $225.75

According to Tmo reps in So Cal, the white ones will be available on Nov 10th.

I got the Black one... its my favorite of the 3 but color is all a matter of taste. It'll be interesting to see the differences of wear and tear after the white ones have been around for awhile.

In all the pics/vids I've seen the white one seems to look a little bit off-whitish and I didn't want to give off that "my phone has been sitting in the sun for a few days" look.

We'll see.
