Of course, I've also been riding it since the first beta OTA so a lot of the "new shiny" has worn off.
I do so love the home controls in the power menu though! I've gotten a ton of use out of those.

I found those earlier when I read about the shutdown/reboot options. I like it, but I'm trying to understand why only 6 items are available. I've got 14 devices listed in the Home app.
Hit the menu button next to them. You can Add additional controls and then Edit to rearrange or remove them.
Yeah, I did that but the original 6 are still all that's listed.
Does the list scroll? I removed the Google Pay card thing to make more room and I've got 10 tiles now.
This is one of the things I've noticed about 11: most of the new features are irrelevant to me. I like the improvements in permission settings, the gesture navigation seems a bit better tuned (though still a poor design, with gestures that overlap with other UI actions and the clumsy "swipe up" vs "swipe and hold" distinction. But it looks like an iPhone so I guess Google were happy). But as someone just uses a phone but isn't invested in the rest of the "ecosystem" there's very little new in the update. Which is fair enough, it's a mature system, just a little dull.
I just realized that third-party apps can plug into the Device Controls piece too. I had kind of been using Google Assistant as a front-end to my Home Assistant automation setup but now I can control Home Assistant directly. Very cool.

I found it ... silly me I was going to "edit" rather than "add devices". I assumed that editing the list was the complete list, not just 6 Google picked at random during the upgrade. I have to agree with @Hadron ... not a lot of new killer features. It's more like 10.1 rather than 11, but Google can call their OS anything they like. 
There are a handful of other features/changes that I'm pretty excited about:
- New media controls integrated into the Quick Settings panel - no more juggling persistent media notifications!
- Easier media output options integrated into those new media controls so you can switch between the phone's speaker or Bluetooth or whatever else in a flash.
- Notification History, if you enable it at Settings > Apps & notifications > Notifications > Notification history.
- "Conversation" notification grouping which makes messaging notifications stand out from all those others.
- Easier to select text in an app via the recents view, great for copy/pasting or search on text from images.
- Built-in screen recorder.
- A cool Easter Egg which shows off several of the new features.
At least the "1 version number per year" scheme makes more sense than the old one, where the sequence went something like 1.0, 1.1, 1.5, 1.6, 2.0, 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 4.0, 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 4.4, 5, 5.1, 6..., and where for added confusion most of those got their own "dessert" name but 4.2 and 4.3 were both "Jellybean".

Samsung just updated my TAB A to 10 this morning, so I wouldn't hold your breath ... unless purple is your wife's favorite color.
So far they've been on it with patches on the s20, but I do miss my pixel 3 for these sort of things.
I read android auto works wirelessly with 11? Teh way article I read said it, it meant if you had 11, and the car had android auto, it worked wirelessly? Is that true? Because game changer! I have wireless charging in wifes car, but I don't use it because I like android auto, so I have to plug in

I really doubt my head unit will support wireless, but I'll give it a go. From what they said, you must pair the phone first, then start AA with the cable. Finally, if you unplug the cable and the app stays open, then you are golden.

As I suspected, all I see on my head unit is a USB error when I unplug my phone. No wireless Android Auto for this boy.
Have you changed the default location of screenshots by any chance? I haven't had any problem either using the swipe up or power+vol down methods.
Wireless Android Auto has been available on Pixel phones for about two years now. Android 11 makes it available on other phones (once they get 11), but you still need a head unit which specifically supports wireless Android Auto - or that clever dongle that's doing the crowdfunding thing.

Can you use the Files app to check if there's a file named ".nomedia" inside your Screenshots directory? You'll probably need to enable the "Show hidden files" setting in that app to make it show up.

Not surprised, but really hoped it was otherwise, lol. Article i read said 'one of the 500 models it is available on' and there is NO way 500 cars have *wireless* AA. So yea, that was a bit misleading.
