Pull down the notification draw, should tell you what it is? Unless the device isn't in your possession? I don't recognize it.

Just get her to do it then. Pull the menu down and then long hold on the icon (assuming it is visible) and choose to go into the notifications section and it will tell her what the app is.

Simple, get her to check the playstore for chat apps, instant messenger apps, dating apps.. pick a search term and check out the icons of the apps and see if one matches.

That could narrow things down a bit, because otherwise there's about a one and a half million apps and games on Google Play. And hoping that someone seeing this thread might just recognise it.


The only chatting apps I use and see regularly are Wechat, QQ and Skype. And never look at any dating apps, no need.
