Hi folks,
Does anyone know what the left icon on my screen stands for? What is the name of the app, so I can delete this.

Hi joly68. I don't know what your mystery icon is. However, if you pull it down from the notification bar, you should be able to long press the icon. That will open a window showing you what app it is associated with. I hope this helps.

That's what I've tried, no solution:(. So that's why I'm wondering if somebody knows this icon so I can delete this app (too many apps on my phone lol).

Actually, @olbriar is right. Swipe down the notification bar and long press the notification with the icon and choose "App Info" from the popup menu. This will bring you to the app page where you can uninstall the app raising the notification.
 
If I di that, I don't see anything :(, no app name, no information nothing.
I hope someone can help me find the app name of this icon though! :)
