Who makes them?

Hello all. Ive posted once or twice on this site. Usually to gripe about my LG EVE but hopefully that will be a thing of the past with the supposed update coming this spring.

My question to everyone here is whether or not anyone knows of particular companies that produce these apps. Or rather, if there are actually any such organizations to begin with. Are they generally produced by individuals or what.

I ask in hopes that there may be a way to voice interest, and, or ideas for new apps. Say maybe getting a large number of people to support an idea in hopes that it may become a reality. I know that the iphone is still leaps and bounds ahead of the android app numbers but were doin alright. There are some apps that the iphone has the I would really like to see copied or imitated for our android based phones.

Maybe there is no such way to make these types of requests but thought that id throw it out there to see.

Cheers,
Brunswick

There's a sticky thread at the top of this forum to suggest app ideas. As to who makes them, I think some are made by individuals while others are made by companies.

The plain and simple answer is that anyone with knowledge in Java and $25 bucks can make an Android app. And now-a-days with 3rd party Markets like SlideMe, that $25 is becoming a thing of the past.

Always make posts or, if you deem it worthy, topics with your app ideas. I know a handful of devs that are always trolling for awesome ideas on new and original apps.
