Who upgraded from the turbo?

I have an opportunity to upgrade if I want to pay an additional $17/ mo. I'm wondering if it's worth it? I'm having no problems with my turbo, and the turbo 2 doesn't do anything to fix my biggest complaint about the original.... The external speaker.... They both suck,b no way around it. My daughter has the moto e and the speaker on that thing is unreal! I can't believe how low volume these things are considering they are monster phones.... Ooh well.

To upgrade or not.... I may go to the store to get one today... I don't know

I just tried a side-by-side comparison using Power Amp in both of them. The volume on the Turbo 2 is almost twice that of the Turbo. (Subjective ... I do not have a meter to test it.)

I don't know what app you are using.

Did you check all the volume controls to see that they were set at maximum? With something plugged into the headphone jack the media volume drops about 30% and you have to manually turn it up.

I upgraded from the Turbo 1. I'm enjoying the larger screen, much better WiFi, and a faster/smoother phone. The SD card is an added bonus. Not stereo, but the speaker is loud enough for me.

I upgraded just because of the SD card. Happy I did. Overall not many other noticeable differences for me. I'm just very happy to have my SD card back. Anyway, wanted to be sure you knew, Verizon will give you a $200 credit for trading in ANY old smartphone, as long as it powers on. Doesn't have to be something that was previously on your plan. Also, if you do Edge, you may qualify for an additional $100. Good luck!

I have a Turbo on a two year plan with one year to go. Verizon would NOT give me anything. I bought the Turbo 2 off contract.

The Turbo 2 is a quiet step up of the Turbo. The screen size makes a big difference.
