WhSwype issue when using google search on droid

y is it when I use swype to search for something on internet, the swype keyboard won't auto space. Frustrating. On beta official swype.

Interesting. I just tried it on Google on my Moto Droid using the official beta, and it auto spaces just like it does in any other app.

I am baffled, works on google properly, not if I use the search button on bottom right of droid

Autospace in google search is working for me with official beta swype on droid, stock 2.01.

I tried using search key & via stock browser.

Update: our posts may have crossed in the ether. I might try toggling input method and if that brings no improvement, cycling power, after which you'll likely have to toggle input method too.
