Are you roaming?

You can enable Dual clock in Lock screen and security > Info and app shortcuts. You phone should show both local and home time zones when roaming.

You can also change the Always on Display clock style to a Dual clock style. Go to your phone’s Settings > Display > Always On Display > Clock style.

Thanks SolApathy

I am in another country (from my home country) at the moment. However, the time zones are exactly the same. Can you tell me where these settings are (for both clocks). I'm using Android 7.0 on a Samsung Galaxy S7 Duo.

settings button> Lock screen and security > Info and app shortcuts (you will see a switch for dual clock) turn it off and it will remove it from the lock screen

Thanks SolApathy

I've switched off the dual clock. Would be interested to know though, why the times were different and where to access both these clock settings from.

If you are roaming internationally, one clock is supposed to be the local time, and other is the time-zone for the SIM's country. If they are wrong, what country are you from and where are you now? Maybe they haven't corrected for Daylight Saving Time?

I'm from Ireland and I'm in Portugal at the moment. Same time. It's a dual-sim phone, so don't know if that makes a difference. Main sim is Irish and secondary sim is Portuguese. Shouldn't make any difference, as time is same in both countries.

Could be an error in Samsung's timezone database, and they're assuming Portugal is same as Spain?

Although FWIW, my Oppo has the correct time for Lisbon, Portugal...
