Why am I roaming all of a sudden at my apartment?

I always had full bars of Sprint service here. As of a few minutes ago, I'm roaming. If I no longer get service, why should I stay with Sprint? Do they have to let me out of my contract?

NOTE:
I power cycled my phone, and I'm still roaming.

I have service again. That link you provided got me thinking, though. Would they have to let me out of my contract if they dropped coverage in my area?

they might give you a free airrave, but that has it's own issues to deal with.

Sometimes you need to update your PRL, somewhere in settings & such

If you have service again then they obviously didn't drop service in your area.....
