Help why are so many apps running in background

also when i go to download a game from the app store the tablet just downloads with the line but it never ends so i cant download anything?i think shr may have deleted a app to allow me to install games?

Some of the apps that appear to be running are not active, but inactive, only cached in memory for quick retrieval if needed. In a cached state they are not consuming any power or CPU cycles. They do not slow down your device.

Others are service-only processes. These are active only in that, to put it simply, they're ready and waiting for something to happen such as email, a phone call, a tap on the screen, etc. They use very little power or system resources while waiting and idling. They have negligible effect on performance.

Active, running apps are those actually in use. These are consuming power and system resources and can slow your device.

To get much more information about is happening with your device, System Panel is an excellent tool:

Edit: Suggestion #1 in post #2 is NOT recommended!

Yeah its slowing ur tablet and also draining its battery.... Two ways are there.:-
1.Download a ram cleaner app like clean master ,360 security etc. And use it.

2. Go to settings>developer options>go to the end of the list> background proccess limit> select a desired option.

Thankyou

1.) A RAM Cleaner app would just make your phone slower in the long run and crash it more. Read Hadron's post on RAM cleaner truth.

2.) This may help, but unnecessary and may cause some apps to stop working in the background.

Okay those all are shit.... We should use it once in a long term..as it cleans up the thumbnail chache and deletes the useless apks..

I am having lenovo vibe x ... And it has its own factory added file manager that has a clean up app ... In a week i clean 400-500mb space ....
If you're cleaning cache files, those get rebuilt as you use the apps.

Android uses caches in many places and ways to improve speed and performance.
