Why can't I email video from Android to Android??

It seems like such an easy function but I guess I'm lost on whats going on.
Here goes, I have a Motorola Atrix and my wife has HTC Inspire and when we shoot video and email them to each other both phones will say the file is not supported. Trouble is that both phone shoot video in 3gp format. Does anyone know how to do something so simple as to send and open video clips from on Android phone to another?

Sorry haven't checked this thread in awhile. Ok so I was confused I guess about the 3gp part. I thought that was the file format. Now keep in mind I'm not a tech guru, so on what the format is I'm not sure.
For your second question I have tried a multitude of different ways i.e. ( Text, Gmail, and dropbox.) I also believe you asked about file size, to this much the same I have tried loads of shapes and sizes i.e. ( Small over-all file size, low resolution, short video like 2 secs. etc.)
So anymore info I can give please let me know, and any info you have please feel free to share.

Ok, download MediaInfo on your computer. Open each file in that, switch to Text View, then copy the results here.

Also, what happens when you just transfer the videos directly to the card, not email?

Ok I'll see if there is a mediainfo for mac when I get home.
Have not tried to copy it to the SD card, I can download the file but the issue is with format. Her Inspire say file can not be opened. So I guess what I'm getting at is getting the file from phone to phone is no problem, opening the file is a different story.
Sorry guys I came over from the dreaded iPhone so something like sharing video shot on the phone with another phone was a non-issue.

Anyone have the same type of trouble with E-mailing videos, or sending them MMS? All I'm doing is shooting quick videos and sending them to my wife. Shooting no problem, sending no problem, but opening them just won't happen. Any help would be awesome.
