Help Why Charging show green after 90%?

Dear Seniors. i want to ask one thing that, when i charge my ideos u8150, it shows orange light which is normal but after 90% it changes to green, is that normal, why it show green on 90% rather then 100%, and after green light it takes so much time to charge towards 100%, please tell me what is normal to be fear less in charging, thanks.

That is a characteristic of Lithium batteries and is quite normal.
