why did my battery go from 45% to 19% overnight????

This Big of a drain usually does not happen. But last night my battery mysteriously went from 45 to 19%. I checked in Settings/Battery and Data and could not find ONE thing unusual. TheRe was no app showing a high percentage eating my battery. Nor was anything showing in Data or Running Apps except the usual system background stuff. What in the world could have caused this?? Overnight my battery usually drains maybe 5% tops. This is really strange....
 
Btw all settings have been completely unchangeD and location is always off. I didn't do anything different than usual but this battery drain just happened for the first time last night. I didn't change a thing to my device or settings.

Battery monitors have been known to drain battery even more...ironically.
It's not a phone. It's a tablet. Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Nook. I just bought it a few months ago. It's not old. The battery life is around 8-10 hours.

You shouldn't be so dismissive of a utility like GSam, it has a proven history. Blanket judgments labeling an entire category of apps simply because there are a some not-so-valid ones out there is a little reactionary.

Not really. It's a fact the more you have installed the more battery it eats. Common sense. Especially when you can view the apps via Battery in Settings.

OK, following that logic than you should be able to deduce just why you saw a significant battery drop by using the Battery function in your tablet's Settings.

Exactly....and I did. Wifi was weak thus constantly automatically searching to connect.
