Help Why do I have a "T" on my screen when I am text messaging

Hi,

I have a large "T" when I am texting someone. How do I take that off?

Where is the T located? Can you post a screen shot? I don't see a T on my phone.

I never had it then on day it showed up. When I text message or write something its there. Its on the right side. Silly to say but it looks like a scrabble tile with the letter T. I don't know how to send a pic.
