Why Does HTC Magic not see new BT Hub 4?

Having just got BT Infinity, I find my HTC Magic cannot 'see' the new Home Hub 4. It happily recognised the old Hub 2 and still sees my neighbours Hub 3. Is BT using different technology in the hub 4 and how do I get wifi from it for this phone. Other devices all see it.
