Help Why does 'LocationServices' or 'SO Android' uses so much data?

SERCASER1

Lurker
Hi!! I'm going to make the story short, i saw that 'SO Android' used about 1GB of data in about 20 days.
Then i installed an app called 'Mydatamanager' looking for some explanation, and this app shows that 'LocationServices' spends like 50-90MB of data DAILY.

What is going on here ???

Ah, ok. I understand now.
"Android OS" =Android operating system.
Did this start after an update to your device?
What device/carrier do you have?
Have you tried to reboot and monitor it again?

How is your data signal strength?

Sorry for all the questions ;)

The last update was like 4 months ago and I just realize that now, so I couldn't say.
I have a Moto X 2013. Carrier: claro Colombia.
And the signal strength is ok. I've seen a lot of users asking the same question at others forums, but they all point 'Android SO'. So I found out that it's 'Locationservices' specifically

Not sure, so I hope someone else can chime in here.
I'm wondering if some app is constantly requesting your location and is misbehaving.
Let me think about this a bit....:)
