Why does my speech to text undo my punctuation?

I have a Samsung S4. I have SwiftKey installed. When I use speech to text and say the words "question mark" It displays a question mark and then goes back and changes it to the words "question mark". The same thing happens with full stops (periods). Is there a hidden setting somewhere?
