Help Why does 'Removed apps' use the most data each month.

Why does 'Removed apps' use the most data each month? I've done the sd maid, an anti virus, deleted every uninstalled app that from my app library and it's still going through all my data.
I've also noticed some apps with random numbers that are using data. Can somebody let me know what they are?
Thank you :)

That's the data used by any apps or games that you have installed, they have used data, but you've removed them during that month. It's totalled as one item, because the system doesn't maintain a list of apps or games that are no longer installed. 5.19GB is quite a lot, have you been using and removed any video and/or music streaming apps, or bittorrent apps, or any games that depend on lots of online data to play?

The apps with numbers, I don't know for sure, but I guess it's something that's proprietary to Samsung's version of Android, like their system apps and services possibly?

I've a S8+ and have never seen numbers like that on my phone. They do look like a system process with the android icon, although uninstalled apps may default to that icon.

Can you select one of the numbered entry's and see what processes it is linked to and post a screenshot please?

@mikedt is correct, that is a high data usage for any app. At the basic level I would put a data usage alert on for when your data exceeds say another 250mb? That way you will know something is creeping about on your phone eating data giving you time to react to it.

Uninstalled apps will default to that icon. But numbered things probably are system processes (these also seem to be using trivial amounts of data).
