why does the blue light come on my Android?

I have an Android Lg Esteem Phone. No phone service. Am connected to a home WI fi network... Att...can can you please tell me what the blue indicator light means ? The green one means its charged and the red one means it needs to be charged.... Id appreciate any info you could provide... Thank You in advance for your insight.

Generally, a blue indicator light means you have some sort of notification. I bet that if you unlock it when that light is flashing blue, you will have a notification in the drawer.
