Why doesn't the stock browser close after I back out?

I hit the stock browser for Internet and yahoo opens. But if I back out its still in use? I go to open this forum that I have book marked and now it shows 2 pages open... Yahoo and android forums. What's the deal??

I think it just remembers the last page you had open. Try closing the tabs, Then back out

Stock android browsers don't really exit. The go dormant, doing nothing. Its not a problem, its by design.

Both correct.

The reason it does not close completely, but gets cached instead is for it tobe ready to start quickly next time you need it.

No, you only use data for the Page to load, if it's loaded and cached, there's no loading to be done (unless Page is dynamic like a forum-in which case new loading will occur, but only after a refresh.
