Why don't I have 3G or 4G in my max pro?

Since I started using this phone last year till now it doesn't leave 2G network and makes the calls ,browser very slow and at times signal just flee from it until I have to restart the phone. Please someone need to help me out .
 
What network/which country are you using it on/in? From the specs on gsmarena it has a strangely limited set of 3G+4G bands, so won't travel well.

Otherwise have you spoken to your service provider, in case it's a problem with your SIM or account?

It was sent to me by my uncle in Europe. Now I am using a Glo sim Nigeria. That's the only sim it detect here all other network doesn't work at all. But still on 2g very very slow
 
Do you know the exact model number? I ask because all the specs I can find for the ZTE Zmax Pro show it as a US phone, so it's odd for someone in Europe to have sent you one.

If it is the same Zmax Pro then it would explain your problem, since that only has some US 3G and 4G bands. It doesn't have the 2100 MHz UMTS band (Glo 3G) or LTE band 28 (Glo 4G), so that model would only give you 2G reception.

Well I don't know where your uncle in Europe got it from, but that matches perfectly with the MetroPCS (USA) model described here. And having looked at the specs on a number of sites almost all say that that phone doesn't support the 3G or 4G bands used by Glo.

So I'm very much afraid that it can only work on 2G for you.
 
Then I think that's definite: it's a US phone, imported into Europe and then passed on to you. And while it does have a "700 MHz" LTE band, it's the wrong one (band 12 rather than 28 - they are both in the 700-800 MHz range, but occupy different parts of the spectrum within that range. With LTE you really do need to check the band number rather than the approximate frequency).
