Sheesh...

A serious problem with these far-right teahadists is their disdain for science. O'Donnell isn't the only one of her breed.

I'm all for getting some republican power back in the senate in November, simply because we need checks and balances on the power of the president to railroad his policies through, such as health care, but these people are such stupid, ignorant morons that it blows my mind how they got nominated. This woman is not who I want being able to make decisions in this country. Any high school student who has taken a simple biology course could answer her question of "Why aren't monkeys still evolving?!". I'm amazed at how someone could possibly be THIS stupid, yet has no drive to actually educate herself on what she believes.

Got to thank religion for that one, making people stupid and telling them to stay that way.

Here's an article you might enjoy hakr. I sure did.

Atheists, agnostics most knowledgeable about religion, survey says - latimes.com

The entire senate and house need wiped clean and refilled with new candidates. Fresh minds and faces that have actually lived in the real world recently and don't have to answer to the "establishment". At the same time we don't have time to train new people entirely, so some experience would be nice.

Sadly folks like Christine are popping up all over the country and it all kinds of positions of influence (not necessarily power) like the Board of Education in Texas wanting to re-write what can and cannot be included in textbooks.

The world is full of morons.
