Why is Android targeted?

AmneonX

I was looking through google and searched android news, and I read something that caught my eye.

This topic states that Google has the ability to remove, and/or add apps from an Android Phone. Yea, so that is nothing new. It targets google for being able to do so.

My question is this. Why is Google and Android being targeted for this? Apple and Blackberry can both do it. I have had to have stuff sent to my Blackberry, so I know they can do it. Its a security countermeasure that I am 100% ok with.

My idea, is the writer of the column, is an Iphone fanboy and is trying to do what ever possible to bring down the very powerful steam that Android is building.

Thoughts?

Google have developed a bit of a reputation for interference in privacy so it's hardly a surprise that people are checking up on what they can do and reporting on it. If you don't mind that's fine, but some may, especially with prior behaviour from the company.

Your link to an iphone fanboy is not really of any relevance.
