My phone was working fine before, I plug it into the charger and the LG logo immediately lights up and stays at that black LG screen for as long as the charger is in. When I unplug it the logo screen vanishes (the phone display turns off) right away. It even lights up the LG logo screen when i plug in the charger without the battery in, is that out of the ordinary?
The power button isn't doing anything (although it had been jammed a lot for a year), and the battery is getting really hot on the phone. The charger attachment part that goes into the outlet is getting hot and even had a slight smell (so did the battery). This has happened before and I usually just let the battery cool off and it works. Is it just low battery life percentage?
