Help Why is my screen foggy with vertical lines through it??

My phone is lg optimus l70.

This just started happening...it keeps coming and going, my screen will look normal for a while, the blurry/foggy with vertical lines for a while.

I will reply to this question in a moment and add a screenshot so you can see what I'm talking about.

Well actually I guess I can't show you because for some reason the lines through the screen cannot be seen on my screenshot above. I didn't know because I was looking at them on the screen with the problem...so I don't know what that means...but there were tons of vertical lines of light through the screen making the whole thing look foggy.

Screen could be the screen itself going bad or some other bit of hardware. I would not expect this to be a software problem. Better make backups of everything before it quits completely.

Yeah, if the problems don't show up in a screenshot, it's definitely a hardware issue.

Something like Helium will back up all your apps and data and you should just be able to back up all your pics/media to your PC.
